Canada Health Infoway Program Reports

Ballyhoo Design was engaged to create visual reports for the purpose of summarizing the activities, investment, achievements, and outcomes of Canada Health Infoway’s Diagnostic Imaging program. The anticipated audience was internal. The Infoway team anticipated that this data visualization would also be helpful in presentations to the Ministry of Health, or as a resource posted to their website. The reports would be delivered in English and French.

The client provided a slide deck that had been used in internal meetings to debrief their Diagnostic Imaging program. Upon review we determined that a list of 17 bullet points would be pulled out of the slide deck to be illustrated as an abbreviated visual report, as a way to make the critical facts of the program’s activities and outcomes easily-digestible for the viewer.

As the client wished to be able to include sections of the new visual report into future slide presentations, I proposed an appropriate aspect ratio and approach for the layout so that individual “infographics” could be simply dropped in wherever they wished.

The resulting designs provide an overview of a large program at-a-glance with skimmable data points and easy to understand graphics.
