Canadian Culinary Federation
Just like the sporting Olympics, the Culinary Olympics are held every four years with participating teams from around the world. This is one of the oldest international culinary competitions, with teams participating in multiple qualifying events that are held around the world, all leading up to the final competition. Members of the Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC)’s Honour Society were hosting the national Culinary Team Canada at a fundraising event – Going For Gold. The event would raise capital for team expenses over the following three years of preparations, and allow the new team the opportunity to practice together under conditions similar to what they will encounter in competition.
